Preston Jackson has brought himself from his home planet of Earth to the Planet Taured, where he settles down in Zephyr City, a car enthusiast's paradise, brimming with car meets, racing events, and much much more! However, misfortune strikes as his prized custom 1960 Skaggs Miami is stolen while at a car meet.
But luck is on Pj's side as at the very car meet where is prized Skaggs is stolen, he meets Marie Moon, an agent who works for Rarity Recovery, an organization specializing in recovering stolen vehicles.
It's up to them to take back what was stolen!

Pj, Marie, and Brandy have joined Dragoon Storm, a high-profile racing team. They're competing in Star Summit, a high-stakes racing tournament that tours the galaxy and stops at many planets, like the aquatic paradise of Aquarius and the familiar, down-home sights of Earth!
But winning isn't going to be without its challenges for Pj and Dragoon Storm, as they encounter and form a rivalry with Team Crown, a team led by the opportunistic Wetzel who will spare no expense to win...even if it means sabotaging his rivals' cars, bashing them off the road, or even creating friction amongst his own teammates, if it means being a step closer to victory!

Many of the foes Francine is challenged by on her adventure are new faces but one of them is an old adversary from her past, looking for a racing rematch.

Eleanor is a quiet member of Team Crown with a sense of honor and respect. She seeks to restore the Bonneville Clan's racing glory that she feels the Fernsby Clan took from her by winning Star Summit.
